How would you feel if we told you that by upgrading your business’s CRM system, or getting a new one, or changing the way you use CRM in the New Year, you’d be helping kids stay off the streets?
That’s right, for the month of January 2023, our Systems Queens are giving back to our community and most especially the youth, by supporting the Covenant House Charity. We will be giving a percentage of all our revenue to them whenever you sign up for our services.
Who is Covenant House?
Covenant House, as we mentioned, is a charity locally based in Vancouver BC, Canada. Their mission is to reduce youth homelessness and help youth who are struggling with addiction stay off the streets and help them get sober and back on their feet. They are all about protecting and safeguarding Vancouver BC’s youth.
Several other local companies in Vancouver here support Covenant House also, and for good reason. In 2022 alone, the number of youth they served daily was 121, while cooking approximately 96,720 meals. Meanwhile, 85% of the youth they served improved and maintained their mental health, and 91% of them improved and maintained their housing. For more details check out their 2022 Impact Report.
If you’re still not certain why a charity like Covenant House needs to exist, we have some hard medicine for you to swallow, in the form of statistics:
- 20% of Canada’s homeless population consists of young people between the ages of 13 and 24
- At least 6,000 young people experience homelessness every night
- 40% of homeless youth first experience homelessness before the age of 16
- Over 50% of homeless youth indicated that abuse at home contributed to their homelessness
Basically, Covenant House helps kids stay alive on the street every day. Every person out there is someone’s son, someone’s brother, someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, etc.
All these are just a few reasons why we’re looking to support Covenant House this year. More on that below.
Why Choose Covenant House as the Charity?
We’re going to get a little personal with this answer, so please bear with us.
Our CEO, Maryanne Renzetti, has a brother who has lived life as a drug addict. He started in his early teens, dropped out of school at 14, moved out at 16, and was on the street and in and out of jail by 18.
He is now 36 and has probably been clean for a total of about 4 years of that time. He spent a lot of time in jail, a lot of time on the street, in the DTE, Surrey, etc. And there were a lot of hospital visits, too.
The great news is that Covenant House helped him out in the early days. As a result, Maryanne really believes in what they do and is grateful for it. And happily, he has celebrated one year clean and is currently studying to become an addictions counsellor so that he can give back and do his part to help others!
How do I help kids stay off the streets?
Easy! All you need to do is contact us today and book a discovery call about your business and your current CRM systems, and then decide on one of our plans.
If you want to donate directly, you can do so here.
Maybe you’re already happy with your current system, however you also want to take your business further this year.
Maybe you’re frustrated because of its initial setup not working, or maybe you’re new and in the market for a system.
Maybe you’re keen on streamlining your entire client journey, making everything automated where needed, so you can save valuable time and money both.
Or, maybe you’re in great need of a strong system in place, to support both you and your clients.
Whatever the reason, you can show support by signing up for one of our custom services in January. Not only will a percentage of the revenue we make will go directly to support Covenant House, but also you’ll increase your client retention and trust, while getting your much-needed time back simultaneously.
